The Passing of Pete Donehue

On the 20/9/2010, we lost a true Kotara High legend in Pete Donehue. When Pete retired, the education system lost a stable sense of respect. In his passing, we lost a great man, a man of integrity, and a man of the community. Out hearts go out to his family and every kid who he set on the right path. Pete was truly a great bloke. Pete Donehue's funeral will be held this Friday the 24/9/2010 commencing at 10am at the Jubilee Uniting Church, corner of Brunker and Glebe Roads Adamstown

All of the details for the Kotara High School reunion for ex students finishing year 10 in 1983 or year 12 in 1985 are contained in Russell's sensational masterpiece above. Please deposit your $20 and include your name as a reference on the deposit and also confirm by email to kotarahighschoolreunion1983@yahoo.com as soon as possible so we can confirm the numbers and work out if we need to take additional space at the Exchange Hotel. If 80 confirm and we get another 60 in the last week it may be too late to book the adjacent room and it might get a bit squashy. Ladies please include your maiden names so we can track who you really are !

KOTARA HIGH 1983 REUNION DATE SET

The date for the reunion has been set for 30 October 2010 and the location is upstairs at the Exchange Hotel in Beaumont Street Hamilton. We have booked a room upstairs which gives us access to the balcony and we'll probably arrange catering of some sort. At this stage the plan is to open an account at the Commonwealth Bank for everyone to contribute to the cost of the evening probably around $20 which will cover the cost of the venue, some catering and music. We'll post more details when we work it all out.

Kotara High School 1983 Reunion

The Kotara High School Reunion for students finishing Year 10 in 1983 or Year 12 in 1985 will be held in late 2010. This site is intended to keep ex students updated on who is attending and details of the event as well as "where are they now" updates.

The four of us are getting together this weekend to sort out some details, the feeling is that we might have the reunion in November 2010 and not 2011 as Chooko will be touring Kazakhstan with the Village People next year.
